Do you love decorating your home for Valentine’s Day? Valentine’s Day home decor can bring a nice cheerful and fun atmosphere during the cold and dark winter season. Using red and pinks, paired with bold black and white stripes and pops of gold, made my living room really brighten up this winter.
When I change up my home decor for seasonal purposes, I tend to stick to only decorating my living room. Sometimes if I’m feeling extra festive, I’ll branch out into my dining room and kitchen with seasonal decor decorating.
For this year’s Valentine’s Day home decor design, I chose my fave: black and white stripes and paired it with pops of gold, red and pinks… of course! How can it be Valentine’s Day decor without red and pink?!
My piano top is one of my favorite places to decorate. This year I went a bit heavy on the cheesy hearts again. I just can’t help it! Hearts just scream Valentine’s Day and LOVE.

I actually found that cute sign at the Dollar Tree, as with a lot of the Valentine’s Day decor items found this year in my living room decor.
I wanted to add more pops of colors in my living for my Valentine’s Day home decor, so I added the white, black and black and white striped paper lanterns.
Then I added some pinks and red tissue paper pom poms, which were again, from the Dollar Tree. Dude, I love that place!
For the front of my piano, I put together a cute little paper and burlap pennant banner. I bought the materials at, guess where… the Dollar Tree!
My second favorite place to decorate is my fireplace mantle. Which by the way, I absolutely love FINALLY having a wood stove insert this winter. I never want to go back to traditional heat again!!
I also decided to bring some paper lanterns and tissue pom poms over to the fireplace area for another pop of fun-ness!
Well, that’s it for my living room Valentine’s Day home decor. Now over to you, how do you decorate for Valentine’s Day… or do you even??
